Anyway, with cords you have to unravel them every time, plug them into an outlet, and then roll them up again once you're finished. While this isn't the end of the world, it's still inconvenient and time consuming. A cordless model on the other hand can be used immediately, which allows you to use your time more efficiently.

While corded drills have more power, how often will you need it? If you are a homeowner do only does smaller to medium tasks, then all that power it has will be wasted anyway.

In summary, if you want convenience, then get a cordless drill. If power matters most, then a corded drill could be the good choice.
